Job duties:

Initiate and enforce operational policies and procedures
Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff
Manage and assign duties for supervisors
Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential
and actual customers to understand service requirements.
Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale.
Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
Oversee inventory by working closely with vendors
Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
Deal with customer queries and complaints
