We, Aworks tiling LTD. are seeking experienced and skilled tilesetter lead hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a wide range of tile materials and installation techniques.

Job Title: Tilesetter lead hand

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $35~$37 per hour

Hours: 30hours per week

Work location: 376 Selica rd Victoria, BC V9B 4X2 and in Vancouver Island and lower mainland

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, measure mark surfaces to be covered
• Lay and set tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs
• Cut, shape, and install tiles according to design plans.
• Mix, apply and spread cement, glue or other adhesives using tools
• Cut, polish and install marble and granites
• Apply adhesives and grout to secure tiles in place.
• Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges
• Ensure finished work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
• Repair and replace damaged tiles as needed.
• Prepare cost estimates and orders
• Lead and participate in tile installation activities, ensuring workmanship meets required standards and guiding workers 

Requirements:

• 1 and half year or experience as a tilesetter or similar role.
• Able to communicate in English
• Strong understanding of tile installation techniques.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools and materials.
• Completion of secondary school
