SWR Drain Service located at 15380 67 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S3L4(see http://swrdrainservice.com) requires 2 full time and permanent plumbers. 

The work location will take place across all towns Fraser Valley Langley, Maple Ridge, Pit Meadows, Coquitlam, Vancouver, White Rock, Surrey, New Westminster, etc.)

 

Duties

 

Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems

Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems

Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors

Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings

Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines

Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment

Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges

May prepare cost estimates.

Use a power snake, hydro jetting, and do camera inspection

Drain system troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs

Experienced in maintenance/repairs of plumbing and drainage systems

English used in the workplace

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 

Red Seal Plumber Trade Certificate from any jurisdiction or be eligible to challenge the Red Seal Plumbing Trade exam in Canada

 

Experience

 

Excavation experience beneficial  

 

Wages

 

$34.62 per hour

8 hours a day / 40 hours a week

Overtime for after hour planned/scheduled projects, service calls and emergency jobs
