Company : Gorugoru food
Position : Chef, Permanent, Full-Time Position
Wage : $36.70/hr, Working 30 hours per week
Starting Date : As soon as possible
Work location : 3270 Coast Meridian Rd, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 3N4
Job Duties:
– Plan menus and create new menu and sauce and ensure food meets quality standards.
– Prepare and cook complete Korean style meals or specialty foods
– Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking and presentation of food
– Train staff in food preparation, cooking and handling food
– Check Inventory and supplies and evaluate the ingredients for the day
– Supervising and consulting with customers regarding special arrangement
– Demonstrate new cooking techniques to cooking staff
Job requirement:
– 3 years (min) of experience in commercial food preparation
– High school graduation or higher
– Able to communicate in English
