We are looking for a Fitness Centre Manager with Personal Training, Muay Thai, and/or Boxing competition experience who is able to implement martial arts and training programs.

 

You should be able to identify and recruit suitable personal trainers and martial arts coaching personnel as well as spot and develop potential talent among members for Martial Arts competitions and exhibitions.

 

You will be responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of the training facility, including ensuring that the equipment and machines used are in excellent working condition and also oversee staff under your supervision.

 

This is a Full-time position comprising of a 30-hour work week. The workplace isn’t limited to the studio as

you may need to do presentations to sponsors and other clients about our programs and facilities.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

  1. Develop and implement Muay Thai and Kickboxing training programs for beginners to advanced levels.

 

  1. Manage and supervise coaching and fitness staff including hiring, training, and scheduling.

 

  1. Work with sponsors and suppliers for exhibitions and internal competitions.

 

  1. Provide support for events, competitions, and staff as needed.

 

  1. Oversee the use, care, operation, and maintenance of all fitness equipment.

 

  1. Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible and professional engagement with

staff and members.

 

  1. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. A College or University degree or diploma relating to health and fitness.

 

  1. Competitive experience in Muay Thai, Boxing, and other related martial arts.

 

  1. Additional certifications or workshops relating to fitness/personal training.

 

  1. At least 3 years of leadership and personnel management experience including mentoring and motivating staff to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

 

  1. First Aid and CPR Certification.
