As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents’ well-being and ensuring they lead fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, providing personalized care, and fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere where residents feel safe and valued.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure residents’ needs are met effectively.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, promoting a sense of belonging and community.
  • Uphold our commitment to creating a safe, warm, and inviting home-like environment for all residents.
  • Embrace our community’s values of active and engaged living, encouraging residents to participate in social activities and pursue their passions.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Completion of secondary school education is required.
  • Completion of compulsory on-the-job training provided by us.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Prior experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards seniors.

 

Wage: $25-$27/hour, 30-40 hours/week

Number Of Openings: 6

Other Benefits: $1000 monthly reimbursement of living expenses
