BBQ King is the place for Chinese food lovers who are looking for the most authentic Chinese dishes, dimsum, BBQ duck and pork. We have a great selection of Chinse and Western dishes, pastries, fresh veggies, desserts and beverages. As the business is getting busy, we are now looking for 2 experienced kitchen helpers. 

Minimum Requirements 

• Will train. Kitchen helper experience in a Chinese restaurant is an asset.
• Completion of high school
• Able to speak and understand English
• Proficiency in Chinese is an asset but not a requirement
• Hard working and honest
• Able to work in fast pace environment

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in the basic preparation of ingredient and menu items
• Cleaning and maintenances of kitchen equipment, storage and preparation areas, as well the work surfaces according to the current hygiene regulations
• Know and apply the standards of hygiene cleanliness
• Assist with the reception and storage of kitchen products
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
• Package ready-to-go food items
• Remove garbage and trash

Work Hours

40 hours per week by shifts

Monthly Compensation

$18 per hour with 2 weeks annual vacation
