Salary: $19.00/Hourly
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, 30 to 35 hours/week

Minimum Education:  Secondary school education
Experience: 1 year of experience

Main Duties & Specific Skills:

  • Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
  • Establish work schedule and procedures
  • Plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standard
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians and customers
