Quality Cabinet Manufacturing Ltd. is a custom woodworking company specializing in the manufacturing of high-end kitchen and bathroom cabinets in a variety of wood species and engineered veneers. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Technologist to conduct all the duties of the position. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team.

Status: Permanent Full-time
Shift: 35 Hours/Week

Main duties:

  • Recommend corrective or preventive actions to assure or improve product quality or reliability,
  • Identity and implement new manufacturing technologies, processes, or equipment,
  • Identity opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, or efficiency of automation equipment,
  • Monitor or measure manufacturing process to identify ways to reduce losses, decrease time requirements, or improve quality,
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and practices,
  • Coordinate equipment purchases, installations, or transfers,
  • Determine and develop technical methods or processes,
  • Select material quantities or processing methods needed to achieve efficient production,
  • Estimate manufacturing costs,
  • Direct quality control activities such as overseeing equipment start-up, characterization, qualification, or release,
  • Develop production, inventory, or quality assurance programs,
  • Create computer applications for manufacturing processes or operations, using computer numerical control (CNC) machines, computer-aided design (CAD), or computer-assisted manufacturing (CAM) tools,
  • Design plant layouts or production facilities,
  • Train manufacturing technicians on topics such as safety, health, fire prevention, or quality,
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance.

Qualifications & skills:

  • 2-3 years of supervised work experience is required,
  • Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology is required,
  • Good English language level.
