Captain's Boil is looking for an experienced and talented cook to join our team. We are a popular seafood restaurant chain that specializes in Cajun-style seafood boils. As a Cook at Captain's Boil, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting our signature seafood dishes to our customers.
Salary – $18/hr Working Hours– 35 to 40 hours per week Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook seafood dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
- Follow restaurant menu and portion control guidelines to minimize food waste and maintain food costs.
- Participate in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 months to 1 years of experience as a cook in a restaurant setting.
- Completion of Secondary school.
- Knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
