Captain's Boil is looking for an experienced and talented cook to join our team. We are a popular seafood restaurant chain that specializes in Cajun-style seafood boils. As a Cook at Captain's Boil, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting our signature seafood dishes to our customers.

Salary – $18/hr Working Hours– 35 to 40 hours per week Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook seafood dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
  • Follow restaurant menu and portion control guidelines to minimize food waste and maintain food costs.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 months to 1 years of experience as a cook in a restaurant setting.
  • Completion of Secondary school.
  • Knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Furniture Mover (NOC: 75101)

Number of Positions Available: 1

Term of Employment: Permanent Position,35- 40 hours per week

Location of Work: Scarborough, Ontario

Wage: $19 per Hour

Language Requirements: English

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to disassemble and reassemble furniture to facilitate content removal and resetting.
  • Rearrange content, furniture, or equipment on-site or in the warehouse as necessary to accommodate work requirements.
  • Properly tag, list, and securely load boxed content and furniture on-site, preparing them for transportation.
  • Unload content, furniture, and equipment in the warehouse and place them in a staging area for restoration assessment.
  • Transport items to warehouse storage container(s) as instructed following restoration efforts.
  • Load and secure boxed content and furniture onto a truck for return and resetting according to directions, including the removal of job-related debris like boxes and packing materials.
  • Retrieve boxed content and furniture from on-site storage containers (if applicable) and restore them to the job site.
  • Be present at job sites and assist with debris removal as necessary.
  • Participate in designated activities as instructed, such as vehicle safety and maintenance inspections, keeping vehicles clean and operational, disposing of debris, and maintaining equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work within time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
  • Pay attention to detail and prioritize the protection of other people's property and information.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures.
