They also collaborate closely with heavy equipment operators, helping to secure attachments to machinery, providing signals for equipment movement, and offering assistance to ensure smooth construction operations. Concrete work is a significant aspect of the job, where they assist in pouring concrete, ensuring it is level and well-finished, which involves setting up and aligning concrete forms and operating pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers as directed.
