NAMASTE INDIAN CUSINE LTD Located at Unit 280 – 2950 Douglas St,  Victoria, British Columbia V8T 4N4 is looking for a Restaurant Manager

 

The duties of the Manager will be as follows

 

·       Plan and organize daily operations

·       Direct the employees regarding their tasks

·       Prepare a budget for the operations

·       Monitor revenues to determine costs

·       Analyze budget and modify the prices according to the budget

·       Implement operational procedure

·       Recruit staff and oversee staff training

·       Monitor staff performance

·       Organise and maintain inventory

·       Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·       Negotiate arrangements with suppliers

·       Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering

 

 

This is a permanent and full-time position.

 

Wage being offered is $35 per hour

 

Must be willing to work flexible hours.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

1)   Completion of diploma or any college program in related field is required

2)   3 or more years of work experience in supervisory role is required

3)  Good at English as the language at work is English.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework
