BAUCO Access Panel Solutions Inc located at 834 Devonshire Road, Esquimalt, BC, V9A 4T4, has a position available for a Production supervisor – assembly.

As part of this valuable team, you will be involved in making our elegant and innovative access panels. You will be involved in producing components, assembling panels, and fitting prefabricated parts to close tolerances.

 

We will rely on your ability to pay close attention to the work at hand and ensure detailed preparation and processing of materials such as aluminum, wood, gypsum board and steel.

 

As a member of our team, you will help us meet our customers’ expectations of on-time delivery of quality products.

 

 

Duties:

 

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of assembly workers.
  • Prepare work schedules for all the workers.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Requisition materials and supplies
  • Provide training to workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Prepare production and other reports.

 

 

Essential Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive and physical tasks.
  • Basic hand tool experience (shop, construction, mechanical, etc.)
  • A strong work ethic and team approach are keys to success at Bauco.

 

 

Education Required:

 

  • Secondary School required.

 

Experience Required:

 

  • 2 – 3 years of experience as an assembler or inspector is required
  • Experience using a table saw, drywall screw-gun, and/or a variety of hand fabricating tools is preferred.

Restaurant and Food Service Manager NOC 60030

A family owned dining lounge is looking for a line cook to work at its location on 260 Hearst Way,
Kanata, Ontario, on a full-time, temporary, non-seasonal, /2/ TWO years' contract, and perform the
following duties:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service.
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
  • Recruit staff and oversee staff training.
  • Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
  • Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.

5 years of experience in the field of Restaurant management is required, college or non-university Education in the
field of management is required; University diploma is an asset.

Salary: $28/h for /40/ hours per week and overtime starts after /40/ hours per week at the rate of $42/h. Schedule: /5/ days per week and two days off to be chosen with the supervisor.

Vacation: 10 days off per year or 4% Languages.
