JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Insurance Broker

Vacancy: 1 Position

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Work Location: On-site only (no remote option)

Pay: From $34.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week

Overview

Able Insurance Brokers Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Insurance Broker. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a client-focused attitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent service. This is an on-site role based in Mississauga, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and assess potential client markets (institutional, business, or individual)

· Establish insurance coverage tailored to client needs

· Ensure the completion of all necessary documentation and policy requirements (e.g., forms, medical exams)

· Respond to inquiries and monitor claims with a high level of customer service

· Provide comprehensive information on insurance packages, including coverage types, benefits, and policy features

· Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with endorsements for adding and deleting vehicles and drivers, ensuring accurate coverage and compliance.

· Advise clients on potential risks and recommend additional coverage for vehicle-related and commercial endorsements, ensuring comprehensive protection and adequate risk management.

Qualifications

· Education: College/CEGEP

· Experience: Minimum 1 year, up to 2 years

· Language: English (required)

· License: Must hold a valid Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) license

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework
