Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to conceptualize and develop innovative software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and others.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of web applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with other developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to make informed recommendations for technology choices and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's overall knowledge sharing.
  • Document development processes, coding standards, and system architecture for reference and training purposes.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges and provide creative solutions.

 

Skills required:

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Strong back-end development skills with languages like Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with databases, both SQL and NoSQL, and their integration into web applications.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

 

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

 

Location – Temporarily remote from within Canada

 

Salary: $46.50 per hour

 

Education Required

  • A degree or a college program in a related field is required.

 

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a full stack developer is required.

 

This position is open to indigenous persons, vulnerable youth and newcomers to Canada.
