Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to conceptualize and develop innovative software solutions.
- Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and others.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of web applications.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability of software solutions.
- Collaborate with other developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to make informed recommendations for technology choices and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's overall knowledge sharing.
- Document development processes, coding standards, and system architecture for reference and training purposes.
- Proactively identify and address technical challenges and provide creative solutions.
Skills required:
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
- Strong back-end development skills with languages like Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Experience with databases, both SQL and NoSQL, and their integration into web applications.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location – Temporarily remote from within Canada
Salary: $46.50 per hour
Education Required
- A degree or a college program in a related field is required.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a full stack developer is required.
