Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cooking vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, and a variety of snacks
  • Preparing individual dishes and managing all kitchen operations
  • Preparing tailor-made dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and patients
  • Defining food recipes, designing meal menus, and deciding food portion sizes
  • Estimating customers’ food requirements, determining input costs, and ordering and monitoring kitchen supplies, and equipment
  • Inspecting and monitoring kitchen and service areas
  • Hiring and supervising junior kitchen staff, and providing them with on-job training
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Keeping the kitchen and other work areas clean and sanitized
  • Organizing and managing party events such as buffets and banquets

Job Duties:

·       Clean and maintain cabin floors by sweeping, mopping, and polishing as needed.

·       Dust all surfaces and vacuum carpets, rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture to maintain a fresh and tidy environment.

·       Make beds, replace linens, and ensure bathrooms are stocked with clean towels and essential toiletries.

·       Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or amenities.

·       Replenish supplies in linen closets and housekeeping storage areas.

·       Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom fixtures, appliances, and surfaces.

·       Maintain cleanliness of shared guest areas such as outdoor showers, changing rooms, and entryways.

·       Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling from cabins and public areas.

·       Clean windows, walls, and ceilings as part of deep-cleaning routines.

·       Safely handle and log lost-and-found items.

·       Provide guests with basic information about the cabins and amenities.

·       Address minor guest concerns or complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
