As a Companion, you will be an essential part of our residents' lives, providing emotional support, social interaction, and assistance with daily activities. Your role is crucial in fostering a sense of belonging and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Administer medications
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Provide companionship
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- Completion of compulsory on-the-job training provided by us.
- Physical capabilities: bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, repetitive tasks.
- Personal suitability: punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, patience, honesty
- Experience an asset.
Wage: $23-$25/hour, 35-40 hours/week

Other Benefits: $1000 monthly reimbursement of living expenses
