Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules

JOB REQUIREMENT 

Education: Secondary School. General Insurance License is required.

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. On the job training will be provided for the right candidate.

Language: English.  

  • Several months of insurance industry experience or related business experience is an asset. On the job training will be provided for the right candidate. 

  • Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education in order to obtain and maintain all licenses.

  • Knowledge of auto and property insurance products is an asset and experience with selling techniques is preferred.

  • Salary level will be based on working experience.

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Evaluate prospective client markets across institutions, businesses, and individuals

  • Sales, service, and profitable growth of personal lines insurance products.

  • Set up insurance coverage for clients. Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs. Determine the payment method.

  • Prospect and cross-sell of commercial, life, and investments by identifying and recommending additional products/services that benefit the client.

  • Complete front-line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines. Make sure all necessary forms, medical examinations, and other policy requirements are fulfilled.

  • Achieve individual goals for outbound calls, client service, sales, multi-client relationships, quality, and productivity.

  • Screen incoming phone calls and emails and forward them to coworkers. Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer complaints and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Regular office admin tasks include following up with vendors, ordering supplies, bank deposit, and office maintenance.

  • This role involves direct verbal and written communication with clients and/or service providers in their environment.

  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Regular office environment. May require occasional travel outside the office for banking or inspection.
