Responsibilities.     Tasks

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Dust furniture
Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
Make beds and change sheets
Distribute clean towels and toiletries
Stock linen closet
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Launder clothing and household linens
Mend clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Quality Control Technician

Quality Control Technician responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of the company’s QC programs and policies. Areas include but are not limited to production, time management, employee responsibilities, full-cycle operation, and warehouse and inventory protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products. Ensure that all products have been checked and fall within the standard, measured to specifications and within tolerances, readability of labels, etc.
  • Collect quality data throughout the production process. Communicate with floor supervisors to establish data collection on different process stages, evaluate for expected quality outcomes, organize data and present reports to Managers and Directors.
  • Improve our testing team’s efficiency by conducting a full-cycle review of their responsibilities, reducing personnel, recommending new technology, and ensuring training is applied consistently.
  • Conduct investigations into quality deviations. Follow up with onsite supervisors and evaluate protocols to determine the cause.
  • Ensure materials/ products that are not in compliance are put on hold. Communicate with suppliers to review defective machines.
  • Support new employees in company procedures. Train and arrange for necessary professional development.
  • Review and assess documentation daily, ensure completeness and improve documentation protocols to eliminate costly mistakes in order and delivery dates.
  • Communicate with coworkers to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Qualifications:

Completion of a two- or three-year college program or equivalent in industrial engineering or a related field

1+ year of experience
