Job Duties

·       Welcome clients

·       Determine the cost of the goods, services, or entrance and use an electronic cash register,

·       Register another cash register, an optical price scanner, or other equipment to calculate the total amount that must be paid

·       Weigh bulk items and produce

·       Accept and handle payments made with a credit card, debit card, cash, or check.

·       Pack items or put them in bags

·       Provide clients with information

·       Compute the foreign exchange rate

·       At the conclusion of the work shift, tally the payments you received and compare it to the total sales

·       When selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or cigarette goods, make sure the customers are of legal age

·       Possibly replenish shelves and tidy the area around the checkout station
