Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Operate production machinery used to manufacture copper and aluminum power cables, including varieties of large rotating machinery and plastics extrusion.

  • Ensure correct operation of machinery and verify processing conditions.

  • Adjust machinery as required.

  • Record production information.

 

Qualifications: 

  • At least twelve months of experience in cable manufacturing is required.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. 

  • Ability to work on various shifts, including nights and weekends.

 

Salary: $26.06 per hour in accordance with the collective agreement. 

 

Bonus: Shift premiums of $1.66 per hour.
