 Education:

Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply chain, production or manufacturing management and related is usually required.

Several years of experience in the occupation supervised are usually required.

Responsibilities

Co Ordinate activities with other work units or departments

Prepare and submit reports

Conduct performance reviews

Ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery

Supervise, plan, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products; processing purchasing transactions; coordinating production work; dispatching crews; scheduling transportation crews and routes; and other related activities

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures for safety and security, standards and regulations in force and participate in their improvement

Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements

Recruit workers and staff, Train workers in job duties

Requisition supplies and materials

Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work

May conduct performance reviews of supervised workers

May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Position: Retail sales manager – e-commerce (NOC 60020)

Job Requirements

1) Min. one year of experience as retail e-commerce sales manager, preferably with demonstrated success in scaling online revenue;

2) Min three years experience with Amazon Seller Central (or similar online purchase platform);

3) High level knowledge in Fishbowl Inventory Software (or similar inventory management system);   

4) Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role;

5) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;

6) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;

7) Experience using e-commerce analytics platforms (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar tools);

8) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail;

9) Excellent multitasking and time-management skills;

10) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Communications, E-commerce, or a related field preferred.

 

 

 

 

Job Duties:

 

• Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the company’s Amazon sales channels in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring alignment with business goals and performance targets.

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans, including new product launches, pricing strategies, and marketplace optimization to drive revenue growth.

• Supervise and enhance product listings, manage Buy Box performance, and respond to customer feedback to maintain a strong online presence and customer satisfaction.

• Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align Amazon strategies with broader company goals and ensure consistent branding across all channels

• Design and execute promotional campaigns based on ROI, ROAS, and overall business objectives to boost sales and brand visibility.

• Ensure full compliance with Amazon’s policies, marketplace regulations, and country-specific requirements (U.S. and Canada), minimizing risk of suspension or penalties.

• Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of Amazon payments, fees, chargebacks, and returns.

• Administer the Fishbowl resources planning system across all relevant departments—including purchasing, logistics, accounting, sales, and warehouse operations—to ensure effective and integrated business processes.

• Improve operational workflows related to inventory control, order processing, and production.

• Serve as the key point of contact across departments to ensure ERP solutions align with evolving operational requirements and long-term business objectives.

• Oversee Amazon department staffing functions including hiring, supervision, and day-to-day management, while providing strategic leadership to ensure efficient operations and a collaborative, results-driven team culture.

• Direct the Amazon sales team by setting clear performance objectives, tracking KPIs, and supporting ongoing skill development to maximize sales growth and team effectiveness.
