Status: Permanent Full-time Shift: 35 Hours / Week

Hourly rate: $26.44 CAD/Hour

 

Main duties:

  • Examine hair and scalp requirements and supply essential treatment or recommendations on beauty maintenance treatments for scalp and hair,
  • Help clients decide their ideal haircut and hairstyle.
  • Complete haircutting techniques, including trims, layers, taper, curl, wave, perm and texturizing,
  • Use bleach, colorants, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair,
  • Shampooing and rinsing hair if required,
  • Supervise hairstylist trainees, and associates.
  • Performs haircolouring methods, such as highlights, ombre, and balayage,
  • Style hair, including blowouts, curls, braids, ponytails, and updos,
  • Upsell clients on products and services,
  • Develops ongoing relationships with clients,
  • Keeps a clean station and sanitizes all tools,
  • Follow, all salon policies and procedures.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Completion of secondary school is required,
  • 1-2 years of related work experience.
