Capabilities and Credentials

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Technical degree or diploma from a recognized educational institution
  • 1+ years experience installing, analyzing, and supporting Desktops, Laptops, periphery equipment and application software
  • Strong understanding and aptitude for LAN interconnectivity concepts and Desktop computing security considerations
  • Proficient in the configuration of desktop application packages such as Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting PC hardware and software related problems

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
  • Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer
  • Give access to computer networks
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Provide customer service
  • Manage incidents
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Report on the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties

Automation Technician

Industries Tavil Canada Inc. (TAVIL) is seeking a full-time, Automation Technician to support the installation, inspection, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical and electromechanical systems used in industrial and manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will work at multiple client sites in Ontario.
