Responsibilities

Tasks

·       Enter client information in databases

·       Help pharmacists

·       Help with scheduling and workflow

·       Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments

·       Record vital signs

·       Bill third party insurers

·       Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation

·       Maintain inventory of equipment

·       Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas

·       Organize and maintain inventory

·       Schedule and confirm appointments

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Establish work schedules

Supervision

  • 11-15 people

  • Staff in various areas of responsibility
