DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

·         Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers

·         Oversee kitchen operations

·         May set up and oversee buffets

·         Clean kitchen and work area

·         Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

·         Naan/ roti Dough preparation knowledge

·         Prepare and cook Indian Curries, vegetarian & non- vegetarian dishes as per menu and ensure taste of food is maintained

·         Ability to operate Tandoor oven

·         Inspect kitchen and food service areas and ensure that all ingredients & kitchen adhere to safety standards and health standards

·         Fine dining restaurant experience or comparable Indian cuisine familiarity

·         Previous experience on a Tandoor station

·         Cooking meats / vegetables correctly and in a manner that is hygienic

·         Monitoring stock of required ingredients

·         Responsible for day-to-day kitchen operation (Indian section).

·         Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of items in accordance with menus.

·         Ensure food preparation and the presentation must be up to par in the kitchen.

·         Assisting in inventories, stock ordering management.

·         Ensure kitchen safety and food hygiene standards are followed.

·         Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items.

·         Hands-on experience in Indian cuisine is mandatory.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
  • Perform nursing interventions such as taking vital signs, applying aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensuring infection control, monitoring nutritional intake and conducting specimen collection
  • Administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects
  • Monitor patients’ progress, evaluate and document effectiveness of nursing interventions and collaborate with appropriate members of health care team

  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to the patient to promote mental well-being and reduce anxiety or depression.
  • Ensure the home environment is safe and free of hazards to minimize the risk of falls or injuries.
  • Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or CPR if needed until professional help arrives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided, patient observations, medication records, and care plan updates.
  • Liaise with physicians, specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers as necessary to coordinate patient care.
  • Provide regular updates to family members and address any questions or concerns regarding the patient’s condition.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain medical equipment such as mobility aids, blood glucose monitors, or blood pressure monitors as required.
  • Instruct family members in the safe use of any essential medical equipment.
