Skydiving Instructor

Skydive Toronto currently operates out of a modern, 12,000-square-foot hangar located at
the heart of our 100+ acre property in Cookstown, Ontario which has been purposely built for skydiving

Rate: $20 dollars per hr

30 hrs per week

Main duties

  • Plan and carry out skydiving activities
  • Assemble supplies and skydiving equipment
  • Demonstrate and instruct skydiving activities and techniques
  • Instruct and lead groups and individuals in skydiving activities
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations
  • Assist with coordination of special events
  • Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports
  • During winter months: maintain and repair equipment, prepare venue, classroom, landing areas for next season.

Employment requirements

  • Extensive experience to do high altitude skydive from 15, 250 feet.
  • CSPA membership
  • Current factory Sigma Tandem instructor rating
  • Experience using Handicam GoPro 10 or newer model (as per United Parachute Technologies policy and requirements).
  • Demonstrated ability in a performing and instructing skydiving
  • CPR and First aid certified
  • Team player, reliable, focused in customer satisfaction

Financial Officer

Job Summary
The bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining shops ledgers and daily financial activities including recording income and outgoing transactions. He/she will also be maintaining all financial records, completing required tax forms, processing payroll, and general regular reports for upper management. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Maintain financial records for shop by analyzing balance sheets and general ledgers
  • Maintain general bookkeeping by reconciling accounts receivables
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, utilities, taxes, payments to suppliers, and other bills
  • Ensure payments are processed in a timely manner
  • Maintain shops accounting standards by following policies and procedures
  • Prepare annual tax returns
  • Conduct checks to avoid double orders
  • Work with accounting company in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statement, and in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
  • Generate reports for senior management to facilitate their review and decision-making

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma / bachelor degree of accounting, bookkeeping or a related fie/ld
  • Minimum of three-year bookkeeping experience
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and bookkeeping software
  • Ability to strictly meet deadlines and handle multi-tasks
  • Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin is preferred

Salary & Benefits

  • Wages starting at $25 per hour
  • Hours of Duty 30 hours/week
  • Overtime 1.5 times per hour exceeding 40 hours per week
