Summary of the Position:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations, sales growth of the retail location, managing employees to ensure customer satisfaction, keeping the team performing to standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Accountable for profit/loss, continuous improvement, service delivery levels, personnel management, and business development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Perform personnel management, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates
  2. Plan daily manpower, facilitates bi-weekly staff meetings, conduct daily pre-shift meetings with reporting teams
  3. Review daily employee timesheets and submit for payroll processing
  4. Monitor, evaluate, and maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
  5. Communicate effectively and continuously practices good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and leadership
  6. Take ownership of any shipping problems and offer viable solutions
  7. Operate all software programs include but not limited to Point of Sale, Counter Manifest System, Mailbox Manager, MS Office and other programs as required
  8. Operate equipment and devices include but not limited to printers/copiers, fax machine, binding equipment and all other office machines in a safe, efficient and productive manner
  9. Develop and implements the store marketing program
  10. Prepare month-end and year-end closing, and various reports
  11. Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies
  12. Manage store inventory, and negotiate with vendors when necessary
  13. Oversee store maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization
  14. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  2. At least 1-year experience in store managing of retail or wholesale trade;
  3. Outgoing personality, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a team for peak performance in a retail-service environment
  4. Adapt to fast-paced environment, be able to work under pressure;
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills for exceptional customer services;
  6. The ability to stand for several hours at a time, and ability to lift 50-75+ lbs.

Essential Skills:

  1. Good computer skills knowledge of Internet applications, Microsoft Word and Excel;
  2. Knowledge of operating the commercial printer and fax machine;
  3. Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping is a plus.

Wages: $36 per hour

Hours of Duty: 40 Hrs./week

Overtime: 1.5 times per hour exceeding 40 hours per week
