Lead Cashier Job Description

Responsibilities:
– Oversee cashiers and ensure smooth operations at the checkout counter
– Train new cashiers on proper cash handling procedures and customer service skills
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
– Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing returns and exchanges
– Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
– Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
– Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash drawers and preparing deposits
– Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers

40 hours per week
$24 per hour

Location: Peterborough, Ontario
We are currently seeking Mould Remediation Technician / Asbestos Abatement Technician /
Media Blast Technician to join CO2 Solutions Inc. (http://www.co2solutions.ca/) team in
performing all tasks required to clean up, chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove
asbestos and other hazardous materials.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile
salvaged materials.
o Remove rubble and other debris from work sites.
o Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and remove asbestos and other hazardous
materials.
o Load, unload, transport asbestos and other hazardous materials from work sites
o Maintain work vehicles.
EDUCATION & LICENSE:
o High School, GED, vocational or technical training
o Asbestos Abatement Training Certificate (253w Certification)
o Water Restoration Certificate (WRT) and Mould Remediation Certification by IICRC
o Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certification
o Group Radiation Training Certificate
o Ministry of Labour Training Certification
o Working at Heights Certification
o WHIMIS
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. One year work experience in Mould Remediation and Asbestos Abatement
2. Experience in Media Blasting (Sand/Soda/Dry Ice)
3. Valid driver’s license and a clean driver abstract.
4. Must be able to lift to 60 pounds.
5. Available and willing to work outside of Peterborough / Kawarthas
6. Must be a team player and possess a positive and professional attitude towards work and others.
