We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to join our team.

Position Overview:
The Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) will play a crucial role in supporting the lead educators in delivering developmentally appropriate programs, maintaining a safe and positive environment, and providing assistance with daily routines. You will work closely with children to ensure their well-being while fostering their development through various engaging activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

  • Engage children in fun, educational activities such as storytelling, songs, crafts, and games.

  • Prepare snacks and set up rooms or areas for meals and rest periods.

  • Support children with eating, dressing, and hygiene habits.

  • Maintain and organize play areas, ensuring they are clean and safe.

  • Assist with housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing toys and equipment.

  • Keep written records of children’s progress and communicate with families regularly.

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all children and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: ECEA or ECE (Early Childhood Educator/Assistant) certification is required. Additional relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Experience: On-the-job training is provided for the right candidate; however, relevant experience is an asset.

  • Skills:

    • Active listening and ability to meet children’s needs.

    • Knowledge of early childhood development principles.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain an orderly, clean environment.

    • Effective time management and multitasking capabilities.

    • Problem-solving skills to handle day-to-day challenges.

    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
