Job details:

Location: Banff, AB

Salary: $36.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Qualifications:

– Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;

– Completion of secondary (high) school is required;

– 3 years to less than 5 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience is required.

 

Job duties:

– Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations;

– Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures;

– Estimate the price of products and services;

– Recruit, train and supervise staff according to the operating standards, and hiring and training practices of Ramen Arashi;

– Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance;

– Monitor revenues to determine labour cost, and modify procedures and prices;

– Ensure health and safety of employees are properly protected according to the health and safety standards of Ramen Arashi;

– Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies;

– Develop, implement and analyze budgets to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits;

– Participate in marketing plans and implementation;

– Address customers’ complaints or concerns;

– Provide customer service or help kitchen operations when necessary;

– Conduct performance reviews;

– Organize and maintain inventory.
