Sales Supervisor-Retail (NOC 62010)

Main duties

·       To supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers

·       To assign duties to sales workers and prepare their work schedules

·       To authorize payments and manage the return of merchandise

·       To resolve day-to-day issues, attending to customer requests, complaints

·       To maintain required inventory and order merchandise

·       To prepare sales reports, and resolve merchandising and personnel matters

·       To hire and train the new sales staff and monitor and report their performance

·       To ensure store displays and signage and ensure cleanliness

·       May perform the same duties as other staff members

·       May perform managerial duties if required

dairy farm worker

Ravenwood Holsteins is a family owned and operated 85 cow tie stall milking purebred Holsteins and Jerseys approx 15 min northeast of Moncton.

We are looking for a motivated candidate to assist us with our operation. The ideal person would already have some experience in the field of dairy farming, must be a team player, independent, reliable, hard working, able to communicate effectively and have a willingness to learn.

The duties will include the following on a regular basis:

  • Identify sick animals and work with veterinarian to determine proper treatment
  • Ensure cattle have access to food and water.
  • Assist in breeding programs including artificial inseminations and synchronization
  • Perform and assist in milking operations with automatic take offs on a rail system
  • Assist in tagging and feeding of calves
  • Assist in vaccination programs
  • Maintain and build fences
  • Clean milking parlor after each milking
  • Ensure milk quality and safety is not compromised by following standards
  • Maintain high standards of animal welfare
  • Take milk samples from tanks
  • Clean tanks after milk is picked up by truck

The farm work is 7 days per week but we want to offer on average a 40-hour week. Evening shifts and some weekends are required.

We offer a competitive salary of $18.60/hour and housing may be available for the right candidate.
