Construction Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our projects with expertise and efficiency. Reporting to senior management, this role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality and achieving client satisfaction in our residential, commercial, and industrial builds.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

– Oversee construction projects from conception to completion while adhering to the provided schedule, specifications, and budget.

– Develop budget estimates and manage project resources.

– Craft construction timetables, set milestones, and ensure timely progression.

– Negotiate and prepare contracts, handling revisions and amendments with stakeholders.

– Implement robust quality control protocols.

– Represent the company in business and union negotiations.

– Generate and dispatch detailed progress reports to clients.

– Manage procurement of materials and oversee land purchases.

– Recruit, hire, and oversee subcontractors and team members, ensuring compliance and safety.

 

Qualifications:

 

– University degree in Civil Engineering or College diploma in Construction Technology preferred.

– Extensive industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

– Proven track record of managing construction projects successfully.

– Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

– Ability to read blueprints, structural designs, and plan layouts.

– Familiarity with construction/project management software.

Truck Driver (NOC 73300)

Job Description:
Main duties
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and consumption
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
• Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, storage, and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance.

Training
• On-the-job training will be provided. You will complete an accredited driver training course of up to three months duration from a vocational school or community college
Driving License

Salary

$26.30/hr

Benefits
• Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week and or after 8 hours in a given day).
• Vacation pay as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay)
