Job Brief:

1063473 B.C. Ltd DBA Freshii is looking for experienced Food Service Supervisor, who can supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the day-to-day activities of staff who prepare, and serve food, providing excellence in customer service.

 

Job Duties:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
  • Estimate and order inventory and supplies required for the restaurant
  • Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations
  • Maintain records for inventory, repairs, sales and waste
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Prepares work schedules and evaluates work performance of employees
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

 

Requirements:

  • Language: Basic English is a requirement
  • Education: Completion of secondary School is required
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Long Haul Truck Driver – Jagged Edge Enterprises Ltd

Jagged Edge Enterprises Ltd is seeking for Long Haul Truck Drivers to drive across US & Canada responsible for delivering raw materials and finished goods throughout the country in a safe and timely manner.

Job Duties:

  • Operate and drive company truck to locations across Canada and the US, transporting goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip inspections of the truck, vehicle systems and equipment, brakes, tires and lights
  • Use GPS or maps to chart out the best route which is time and fuel efficient
  • Oversee the condition of vehicle equipment, loading and unloading of goods and ensuring the safe delivery of cargo
  • Ensure that all documentation and permits are in order when driving US routes
  • Ensure the accurate recording of cargo information, distance logs, fuel consumption and expenses into logbooks
  • Ensure that any damaged products are reported and documented properly
  • Able to coordinate with Dispatchers and other logistics professionals efficiently while planning and driving their routes
  • May be required to drive as a part of a two-person team
  • Loading and unloading of loads
  • If necessary, perform emergency roadside repairs

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Must have Class 1 from BC or equivalent Driver License from anywhere with air brake endorsement or should be able to acquire one
  • Must be able to communicate in basic English
  • No work experience required, Any prior experience in commercial driving is an asset
  • Must pass drug and alcohol test and have clean driving record
  • Ability to drive for extended hours
  • Willing to submit to background/Drug checks
