Duties:

Supervise and co-ordinate the work of our janitorial service cleaners

Ensure established health and safety standards for the cleaners

Ensure that cleanliness standards for our customers

Evaluate the performance of the cleaning

Hire and train cleaning staff

Prepare schedule work sheets and coordinate activities with each of the    cleaners

Prepare monthly budget for supplies and keep financial records

Assist the owner/manager in the new tenders

Keeps record of the equipment and oversee equipment repairs are completed

Keep record of the supplies and order supplies

Emergency cover when a janitorial service cleaner is absent

Responsibilities

Tasks:

  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation)
  • Installing machinery and equipment
