Job Brief:

Fresh Burrito Mexican Grill is looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor who can supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the day-to-day activities of staff who prepare and serve food, providing excellence in customer service.

 

Job Duties:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
  • Estimate and order inventory and supplies required for the restaurant
  • Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations
  • Maintain records for inventory, repairs, sales and waste
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Prepares work schedules and evaluates work performance of employees
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines

 

Requirements:

  • Language: Basic English is a requirement
  • Education: Completion of secondary School is required
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required

  • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be attentive and detail-oriented
