Job Brief:

Pearl ZS Pizza Ltd DBA Domino’s Pizza is looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Assistant Manager with good leadership skills to join its team at the earliest, responsible for managing staff within a business. Coordinates the operations of the facility, sets up displays, and assists customers and staff during business hours.

 

Job Duties:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the facility
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Recruit staff and oversee staff training
  • Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
  • Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate arrangements with clients for food delivery

 

Requirements:

  • Language: English is a requirement
  • Education: Completion of College is required
  • Experience: 1 – 2 years of experience within the food sector or previous experience as a food service supervisor will be considered

 

Core skills:

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have financial skills to create budgets, enter data into spreadsheets, use financial software and analyze expense reports
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be attentive and detail-oriented

Accounting Technician

We are looking for an Accounting Technician to join our Midtown Medical Clinic in Vermilion, Alberta. The position focuses on working with small to mid-size business. 

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books Reconcile accounts

Education/Experience

  • Diploma or certification in the finance, accounting or a related field.
  • 3 + years experience in accounting
  • Established experience in accounting cycle and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and QuickBooks
