Job duties

  • Co-ordinate, assign and review the sorting and delivering of mail, parcels and other material;
  • Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports;
  • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies;
  • Requisition supplies and materials;
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work; and
  • Perform any other assigned duties.

 

Terms of employment

Permanent, full-time (30 hours/week)

 

Expected Employment Start Date: as soon as possible

 

Wage

$31/hour

 

Benefits

4% vacation pay

Skills requirements –Education and Work experience

Education: secondary school

Work Experience:

  • Min. 6 months to a year work as a postal clerk
  • 3 years of retail supervisory experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems including troubleshooting

 

Language requirements:

Fluency in spoken and written English required
