Job duties:

     

Create, improve, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the company.

     

Mentor and interact with members of staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among senior executive team and all members of staff.

     

Analyze and make recommendations on the impact of long-range growth initiatives, planning, and introduction of new strategies and regulatory actions.

     

Assessing risks to the company and ensuring they are monitored and minimized.

     

Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.

     

Ability to select appropriate staff and or other executive members for business.

     

Provide expert financial guidance and advice to others within executive leadership.

     

Coordinate the efforts of different regions, divisions, or departments.

     

Manage the organization’s company resources.

Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time

Wage: CAD $44.99 per hour for 35 hours per week

Skills requirements:

     

Majority owner of the company.

     

Basic knowledge of photography.

     

Flying drone and capturing videos & editing expert.

     

The person should have strong knowledge of digital marketing tools such as search engine optimization, Facebook ads and other social media marketing tools.

     

Have held senior level positions or similar and above.

     

Strong business development experience

     

Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills

     

Experience in leading management teams, engaging with staff at all levels and transitioning a Startup to an independent, corporate business.

     

The person should have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

     

Willingness to build things ground-up and, at times, to ‘roll up the sleeves and get one’s hands dirty.

Required education: A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other discipline related to the service provided is preferred but not required.

 

Required work experience: 3-5 years of working in a senior managerial position and working in a similar industry is preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Construction Office Manager will be responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and providing administrative support to all areas of the company.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate projects/office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee administrative procedures for projects/office activities.
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
  • Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance.
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management.
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.
  • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes.
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Education: Completion of High School, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
  • Experience: 1 year of work experience as Construction Officer Manager.
  • Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
