Setting Strategic Objectives:

  • Establishing clear objectives and goals for the company's production operations, aligning them with overall organizational strategy.
  1. Policy Formulation and Approval:
    • Formulating and approving policies and programs related to production processes, quality standards, and resource allocation.
  2. Organizational Structure:
    • Authorizing and structuring major departments and senior staff positions to execute production plans and strategies effectively.
  3. Financial Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess the organization's financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the company's financial health.
  4. Financial Strategy and Decision Support:
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies and objectives.
    • Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business growth opportunities.
  5. Resource Allocation:
    • Allocating material, human, and financial resources to support production activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Personnel Management:
    • Selecting and appointing middle managers, directors, and other executive staff members who oversee production operations.
  7. Coordination and Oversight:
    • Coordinating the work of different production regions, divisions, or departments to ensure cohesion and alignment with company objectives.
  8. Representation and Negotiation:
    • Acting as the company's representative in negotiations with suppliers, partners, or regulatory bodies or delegating this responsibility to appointed representatives.
  9. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
    • Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  10. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or applicable accounting standards.
    • Oversee internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our company is looking for a Café Manager, who will be responsible for the supervision of operations, processes, and products of the company. It is important for the company to comply with high quality standards. He/she will supervise the operations, management processes and quality of our products.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise, plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurants.
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
  • Conduct research to determine efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies, food preparation, industrial and quality standards.
  • Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed in all the locations.
  • Negotiate arrangements with franchisees, suppliers and vendors for food and other products.
  • Supervise the operations of franchisees.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in the food industry.
  • Languages: Fluent in verbal and written English
