Overview:

We are currently seeking a Chemical Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Chemical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations. You will manage contracts, oversee technical designs and engineering work, evaluate data and information, prepare reports, and consult and advise clients. You will also be responsible for proposal preparation, bidding documents, participating in contract negotiations, and awarding construction contracts. The ideal candidate must have at least five years of experience in chemical engineering and a bachelor's degree in engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and control budget and expenditures.
  • Hire, train, direct and motivate staff.
  • Assign, coordinate, and review technical work.
  • Evaluate technical designs and engineering work.
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports.
  • Consult and advise clients.
  • Advise senior management.
  • Manage contracts.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
  • Proposal preparation.
  • Prepare bidding documents, participate in contract negotiations, and award construction contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical engineering.
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check may be required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Supervision:

  • 3-4 people

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer to join our consulting firm. As a Piping Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of piping systems. You will supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems, develop maintenance standards and schedules, plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems. You will also be responsible for preparing contract documents and evaluating tenders for industrial construction or maintenance, supervising technicians, technologists, and other engineers, and reviewing and approving designs, calculations, and cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of piping systems.

  • Equipment and machinery experience in piping systems.
  • Area of work experience in installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities, operations or production, purchasing, procurement and contracts, quality assurance or control, and research and development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • 1 to 2 people.
