We are looking for an experienced Financial Funding Manger as our key management team member. Job title: Financial Manager — Funding

Work hours: 30 – 40 hours per week

Salary: $50.00 per hour

Terms of employment: This is a permanent full-time position

Location: Courtenay, BC

Responsibilities:

– Develop appropriate financial funding strategy (200K investor funding for the first year, 500K for the second year and 1 Million every year till 2025)

– Funding campaign budget analyses to help make decisions to ensure company financial goals are achieved.

– Establish relationship with potential investors to determine investment goals and create investment strategies.

– Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization’s financial performance against funding target, budget, financial and operational goals.

– Ensure reliable, accurate and timely financial statements draft for contracted CPA and related outputs are prepared to director.

– Ensure that finance, production and sales team’s requests are resolved and communicated in a timely manner to internal and external parties.

– Partner with director and sales team to identify and implement improvements in financial process.

 

 Job requirements

– Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.

– A minimum of 5 progressive experience as a financial manager is strongly desired.

– Former leadership experience or managerial experience of a team is preferred.

– Ability to translate financial information to various business audiences to inform decision making and reach effective business solutions.

– Strong overall business acumen; although the primary responsibility is finance, this role will help to develop solutions to broader business issues.

We are looking for a Business Development Officer to help formulate policies to source new sales opportunities, engage with potential organizations to introduce our value proposition, secure new agreements, strategize customer base expansion, generate new leads and customer engagement, and manage customer retention.

 As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible to:

  • Identify, evaluate, and understand potential customers and market segment to fulfill specifically assigned responsibilities including establishing and executing engagement proposals.
  • Develop policies and administer programs for promotion and development of business growth in local and nearby areas.
  • Devise market research plans, questionnaires and prepare reports.
  • Conduct surveys and market research in local and nearby areas to assess growth potential and future trends of Business.
  • Develop a regional business plan to identify methods for client acquisition, expansion, and retention.

  • Respond to enquiries from representatives of various business enterprises. Effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
  • Conduct market research & analyze customer buying pattern.
  • Gather competitive information on marketing strategies and create action plans for target markets, developing new executive relationships with companies.
  • Prepare quarterly sales forecast and quarterly sales reports to support the market research analysis and improve sales outreach processes over time.
  • Develop strategies within the various market segments depending on the company goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to proactively innovate services and products to enable revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Initiate strategic and creative delivery of market outreach to support sustainable growth.

 Requirements

  • Be goal and results driven.
  • Experience in assessing, formulating, and articulating a business case for organizations to rent services; ability to deliver enticing proposals to win, retain and grow accounts.
  • At least 1 – 2 years of full-time work experience in sales.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships.
