We have an opening for Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030) our Domino’s Pizza (2253150 Ontario inc.) located at 2690 West Oak trails Blvd, Oakville, ON L6M 3T3. Position: Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030)

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people

Job Duties:

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Monitor staff performance
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Recruit staff
  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Provide customer service

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime

Salary: $37.10/hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week

Salary: $20.50 hourly for 30 hours per week

Qualifications:

– Ability to communicate in English and in Japanese orally and in writing is required;

– No degree, certificate or diploma is required;

– No specific credentials are required;

– No previous experience as a tour guide is required.

 

Job duties:

– Confirm transportation and accommodation reservations;

– Communicate with agencies and/or clients for any changes in itineraries if necessary;

– Collect administration or entrance fees and handle payments on behalf of clients; 

– Co-ordinate recreation activities such as walking tours and hiking tours;

– Describe points of interest, explain history or background of sites and answer clients’ questions in Japanese;

– Resolve itinerary and other problems by communicating with clients in Japanese;

– Pick up and drop off clients at hotels, airports, train stations and assist clients in check-in and check-out procedures as required;

– Provide information on Canadian tipping customs, currency exchange rates, metric conversion and other details for Japanese tourists who are unfamiliar with these customs/cultures;

– Assist clients with special needs if required
