 1.           Job Description/Described Duties:

·       Designs graphics, animations, and manipulates digital photographs.

·       Estimates the cost of materials and time to complete the web page designs.

·       Participates in discussions with clients to clarify what they want.

·       Coordinates various web pages with appropriate links and multimedia elements in collaboration with design team members.

·       Develops and maintains the front-end functionality of websites.

·       Develops site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists, designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.

·       Develop website architecture and determine hardware and software requirements.

·       Upgrades site by updating content and graphics.

·       Edits content, debugs code, and re-designs web pages.

·       Creates logos, banners, and buttons for websites.

·       Tests the web pages to ensure it is working.

·       Contacts external webmasters to confirm link placements.

· Guide other team members on web development issues.

 

·       Provides technical support to end users.

·       Identifies and corrects software deficiencies.

·       Write internal and external design specifications.

· Involved in the creation of a comparison site from scratch.

·       Documents software and technical specifications.

·       Work on multiple projects simultaneously to a high standard.

·       Escalates operational issues to senior management.

·       Creates website promotional material, web banners, and optimises landing and home pages.

·       Register web domain names and organize the hosting of the website.

·       Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and perform other duties according to the requirements of the client.

 

2.     Wages and working conditions:

        Hours of work: 40 hours per week

        Wage: $38.75 per hour

        Overtime: $58.13 per hour after 44 hours per week

        Frequency of pay: Bi-weekly

 

3.     Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

 

4.     Vacation:

        Vacation Pay: 4% gross salary

        Paid sick leave as required by the law, but is subject to being reported to the medical officer about the sickness

 5.     Transportation: Public transportation is available

 8.     Other Benefits: Bonus as declared yearly.

3x Heavy Duty Mechanics

Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd. located at 98 Panteluk Street, Estevan, Saskatchewan, S4A 2A3 and 2 Cheviot Road, Clavet, Saskatchewan S0K 0Y0, has three (3) full time and permanent Heavy-Duty Mechanics positions.  

 

The applicants will be working at both locations (the permanent office and maintenance facilities) in Estevan and Clavet, Saskatchewan with periods of traveling working at various project locations.

 

We are a Heavy Civil Construction Company, operating a heavy construction fleet in the completion of large civil construction projects. We specialize in large technical projects that involve challenging soil conditions and intricate earth structures. Duties

 

·      Regular inspections and checks on heavy-duty equipment such as excavators, graders, scrapers, haul trucks, dozers, heavy trucks and trailers and other heavy-duty construction equipment.

·      Reading electrical and hydraulic schematics.

·      Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning and faulty components or parts using testing and computerized equipment.

·      Perform routine, scheduled, planned maintenance services on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, cleaning and lubricating.

·      Perform cost-effective repairs and maintenance on heavy duty equipment including trucks, light vehicles and trailers.

·      Test repaired equipment and ensure compliance to OEM (Original Manufacturer Specifications).

·      Detailed recordkeeping of complete work orders and repairs, plan work schedules.

·      Communicate with maintenance management regarding ordering of parts, concerns and issues regarding equipment.

·      Mentor apprentices and work as a team member sharing knowledge and skills.

·      Adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety policies and environmental program.

·      Must be able to speak, write and read English as this is the language used in the workplace.

·      Must be willing to travel between both locations (Estevan and Clavet) as well as various other project locations in the province.

 

Education 

 

·      A relevant Journeyman qualification as Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Heavy-Duty Mechanic from any jurisdiction OR enough work experience to challenge the Red Seal as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic 

·      Experience in CAT SIS will be an asset

·      Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office 365 will be an asset

Wages

 

·      $40 – $55 per hour (depending on experience)

·      Working 40 regular hours per week 

·      Over-time required / paid after 80 hours bi-weekly @ 1.5 per hour

·      15 days’ vacation days, / 5.77% paid as a percentage of regular and overtime earnings each bi-weekly pay period

 

Benefits

 

·      Statutory Holiday Pay at a rate of 4% of regular earnings

·      After three months of consecutive full-time employment, applicant will be invited to join the cost-sharing benefits program

·      Single occupancy accommodation is available on a temporary basis at KPCL’s work camps while getting settled

·      Applicant will need to use their own transportation to get to/from work.  Travelling between the work locations and various project locations, the Company will either provide a Company vehicle or pay travel units @ $30.00 per hour
