Task

  • Retail salespersons
    • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
    • Advise customers on quality and ingredients of baked goods, and provide advice concerning specialize baked goods
    • Package baked goods for purchase
    • Prepare sales and accept cash, credit card or automatic debit payment
    • Lead in display of baked goods and other items for sale
    • Maintain sales records for inventory control
    • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems for replenishing baked inventory and other items

 

  • Visual merchandisers
    • Design and implement window and interior displays
    • Assemble visual retail displays to promote baked products, other items, promotional events and seasonal change overs
    • Ensure visual displays comply with brand guidelines and standards, including organization’s culture, image and target market
    • Set up lighting systems to create a visual atmosphere
    • Ensure all displays clean and presentable
    • Utilize effective marketing to ensure maximization of sales of baked goods and product

 

Work Conditions and Physical capabilities:

          High volume Bakery having physical demand to meet output of product and customer needs.  Must be able to move quickly, stand for long periods of time, bend, crouch, kneel and continuously walk.  Position provides for sitting, standing and walking throughout the shift.

Job Description

As an Architectural Project Manager, you will conceptualize, plan, and develop designs for commercial, institutional, and residential building projects. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet design specifications, budgets, and timelines.

Key Duties:

  • Consult with clients to determine project requirements, style, and objectives.
  • Conceptualize and design buildings, preparing plans and specifications.
  • Prepare sketches, models, and construction documents for contractors.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and award construction contracts.
  • Monitor construction sites for compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects.
  • Coordinate project teams, resources, and schedules to ensure timely completion.

Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work with some repetitive motions.

Employment Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of architecture or completion of the syllabus from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC).
  • Completion of a three-year internship under the supervision of a registered architect.
  • Completion of the Architect Registration Examination.
  • Registration with a provincial regulatory body (required in all provinces and the Northwest Territories).
  • Master’s degree in architecture and LEED certification may be required depending on employer needs.
