Salary: $26.11-$29.00/Hourly for 30-40 hours per week

Education: Completion of a College diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in the financial or accounting field

 

Ferndale Transport is looking for a high-functioning, reliable, and self-motivated individual to fulfill the bookkeeper role and manage financial tasks. Be part of a successful company dedicated to achieving transportation, warehousing, and logistics excellence.

 

Job Duties:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing
  • Perform monthly financial accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements and reports using QuickBooks
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including making payments, managing accounts receivables, and tracking expenses
  • Manage client billing and collection of payments
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records for the transportation company

 

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Proficiency with applications such as MS Excel and QuickBooks or accounting software
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

  • Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
