At Your Door Services Ltd. is urgently hiring a full-time Bookkeeper to join our growing team! We are a trusted provider of janitorial services for commercial and residential clients across Prince George, BC. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wage Rate: $36.60 per hour
Hours Per Week: 30–40 hours

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: College program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience

  • Language: Proficiency in English

  • Technical Skills (preferred):

    • Microsoft Excel

    • Microsoft Word

    • Spreadsheets

    • QuickBooks or other accounting software

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process payroll and prepare employee paycheques

  • Calculate fixed assets and manage depreciation schedules

  • Maintain financial records using manual and computerized systems

  • Establish, balance, and reconcile various accounts

  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements

  • Post journal entries and track adjustments

  • Prepare tax returns and government remittances (GST, PST, etc.)

  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required

  • Prepare trial balance of books

  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts

  • Assist with budgeting and year-end financial preparation

 

 WORK SETTING

  • On-site, full-time, daytime hours
