PRODUCT MANAGER, MARKETING, INTERNATIONAL

Position Overview:

 

The Product Manager, Marketing, International will be responsible for the development, execution, and management of marketing strategies and initiatives for products across global markets. This position requires a deep understanding of international market trends, customer preferences, competitive analysis, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, sales, and marketing strategies. The role will involve overseeing product launches, driving growth, and ensuring brand continuity across international regions.

 

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

a.       Manage, support and grow existing Key International Accounts

 

·         Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business development, sales, and supply chain teams, to gather and assess customer product requirements and specifications.

·         Lead competitive product analysis and provide recommendations on pricing strategies, margins, and international positioning.

·         Develop and execute international marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to drive product awareness and increase market share.

·         Ensure product development aligns with international standards, directives, and brand continuity.

·         Develop team processes to streamline activities from PO to final shipments and delivery.

·         Coordinate samples and new product offerings in collaboration with Director of Business Development (BD).

·         Lead and execute Merchandizing and Training Support plans for retail customers with internal team.

b.       Support Planning, Projections, and Sales Analytics

·         Analyze product performance across global markets and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive category growth.

·         Assess characteristics of products or services to be promoted to determine marketing and advertising needs of an establishment.

·         Share and execute best practices in promotions, training, upselling, visual merchandising across global customer base.

c.       Onboarding & Systems

·         Work closely with the supply chain, business development, and marketing teams to coordinate sample deliveries, product testing, and market launches.

·         Support Account updates & on-boarding activities

·         Review customer document requirements .

·         Maintain customer account profiles, document requirements, contact lists

·         Prepare weekly tracking notes of ongoing customer communications and projects.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

Support New Product initiatives and collaborate with BD Director to:

·         Gather and organize customer product requirements and specifications

·         Develop internal specifications prior to submission to supply chain

·         Complete competitive analysis of new products

·         Collaborate to review Costing and develop pricing/margin recommendations

·         Ensure brand continuity and compliance with international directives and policies

 

NEW ACCOUNTS

·                 Identify, engage, and qualify new leads and opportunities

·                     Research current offerings and liaise with BD Director to develop/submit proposals

·                     Engage internal teams to develop and execute program launches and marketing strategies.

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

·                     2-5 years Proven, progressive experience in CPG account management roles, and marketing strategies for B2B.

·                     University Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field

·                     Strong understanding of international markets, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes.

·                     Fluent in English and Spanish (asset) and knowledge of Latin American Markets, Asia and EU markets.

·                     Experience with sales analysis, marketing metrics, and product development processes.

·                     Strategic thinker to uncover market insights for potential opportunities or issues

·                     Has a solid financial acumen. Knows how to pull levers of the P&L to drive profits

·                     Strong project management skills to oversee the preparation of reports, speeches, presentations, and promotional materials.

·                     Able to present & simplify key best practices to senior, local & international leadership.

·                     Curious, creative, detail-oriented personality will thrive in this position

·                     Strong verbal and written communications skills

·                     Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerBI, Powerpoint, Teams, Canva, Adobe creative suite).
