We are currently seeking a motivated full-time tea processing supervisor to join our team located in Agassize, BC.

Responsibilities

  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
  • Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Labourers in food, beverage and tea processing
  • Tea processing machine operators

Wage: $27.50 / Hour

Hours: 35.00 Hours / Week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full Time

 

Skills & Duties:

Construction helpers and labourers perform some or all of the following duties but not limited to this:

  • Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist tradespersons – cement/concrete finishers,
  • Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials
  • Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites and read and interpret blueprints

 

Transportation and travel information: willing to travel regularly

Work Location Information: Urban area & Various locations & Outdoors

Education: Not Required

Experience: Experience an asset.
