Job Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent vocational training in drywall installation or construction.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in drywall installation or a related field.

  • Language: English

  • Understanding of drywall materials and techniques for both residential and commercial projects.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices for working in construction environments.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and clean surfaces for drywall installation

  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners

  • Apply joint compound to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks using trowels and broad knives

  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets

  • Secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists

  • Smooth excess compound and allow it to dry

  • Apply acoustic or texture materials to walls and ceilings

  • Use a taping machine to tape joints and embed tape in compound

  • Install metal stud framing and furring for drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools

  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts

  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

 

Work Environment:

  • Settings include construction sites, residential, and commercial properties

  • Conditions involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads

  • Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Education:

    • Completion of a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

  • Experience:

    • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in customer service is required. Experience in sales or a similar role in a fast-paced environment is an asset.

  • Language:

    • Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken) to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

  • Skills:

JOB DUTIES

As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a key role in maintaining client satisfaction and helping manage daily operations. Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Greet clients and answer phone calls or emails to address inquiries and provide information about our cleaning services.

  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

  • Explain the different types of cleaning services offered and their associated costs to potential clients.

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients by providing support and addressing any follow-up inquiries after services are completed.

  • Log complaints and track them to ensure they are resolved efficiently.

  • Advise clients on any promotional offers or advertising opportunities for additional services.

  • Assist the company in preparing marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, and other content to promote services.

  • Assist in arranging billing for services provided and ensure accuracy in customer transactions.

  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys to gather feedback on our services.

  • Engage in public opinion surveys to better understand the needs and satisfaction levels of current and potential clients regarding our cleaning services.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

  • This position is based in Prince George and requires on-site presence.
